Stormwater is rainwater that has fallen onto roads or roofs and often contains chemicals or pollutants. Water sensitive urban design (WSUD) is an approach to planning and designing urban areas to make use of this valuable resource and reduce the harm it causes to our rivers , creeks, receiving waterways and bays.

Water sensitive urban design (WSUD) uses better urban planning and design to reuse stormwater, stopping it from reaching our waterways by mimicking the natural water cycle as closely as possible.

WSUD Design/Report

WSUD (Water Sensitive Urban Design) is a planning and engineering design approach which integrates the urban water cycle, including stormwater, groundwater and wastewater management and water supply, into urban design to minimise environmental degradation and maximise the visual and recreational amenity of developments.

This is very common requirement now a days during planning permit stage to incorporate WSUD in the proposed development and as part of the design provide  STORM /Insite/MUSIC report is to be provided to support the proposal. The acceptable WSUD elements  and products are vary from council to council. We well aware about the local council requirements and acceptable WSUD elements and peripheral devices.
